A Simple Styling Tip for Wearing Fall Fashion in Hot Climates

If you crave Fall fashion, but live in a climate that will be 90+ degrees through October, try this styling tip:

Pair your short hemlines with a closed toe shoe.

The shorts are quintessentially Summer and the closed toe shoe, whether a loafer, a clog or a ballerina, is a cute nod to the Fall.

It’s tough for a Fall fashion enthusiast in Dallas! While Summer fashion has its own special quality, to me it feels specific and limited (especially in an intense climate like Dallas). I LOVE Fall fashion because it feels more in-depth with lots of layering and core concept ideas.

The beauty of trans-seasonal style is that it doesn’t have to be definitively one or the other. Instead of thinking of seasons as on/off, try looking for a happy place where both seasonal characteristics work together.
